Services for Workers and Job Seekers

Have you been laid off from your job, or been notified that you will be laid off? Are you interested in changing careers or learning about education and training opportunities? You may be eligible for services that can assist you in finding a new job, updating your skills, or moving into a new industry.


SGI has identified several industry sectors that are expected to grow and offer new career opportunities in Southeast Arkansas. These include:

  • Healthcare and Social Assistance
  • Chemical and Chemical Product Manufacturing
  • Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics
  • Biotechnology and Life Sciences
  • Metal and Machinery Manufacturing
  • Sustainable Agriculture
